Red Snapper Managed Services awarded Bedfordshire Contract: Transforming Justice and Community
Red Snapper Managed Services Ltd Secures Contract to Provide Out of Court Disposals (OOCD) and Intervention Hub Services in Bedfordshire.
Red Snapper Managed Services Ltd (RSMS) is proud to announce its successful bid for the prestigious Out of Court Disposals (OOCD) and Intervention Hub and Referral and Support Service contract in partnership with the Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner (OPCC) for Bedfordshire.
This reflects RSMS’s commitment to fostering innovation and supporting the community in addressing criminal behaviours.
The contract, awarded by the Police and Crime Commissioner, encompasses the establishment of an Out of Court Disposals Service and Intervention Hub to cater to the needs of low-medium risk offenders in Bedfordshire. This service extends to offer referral and support services, not only for the offenders but also for their families, friends, and professionals who work with Service Users.
The Out of Court Disposals Service aims to enhance victim satisfaction, facilitate early intervention, and provide an alternative to the traditional court system. With a commitment to the betterment of the community, RSMS will work collaboratively with Bedfordshire Police and the OPCC to accommodate changes in the evolving Out of Court Diversions landscape.

Bedfordshire Deputy Police and Crime Commissioner, Ian Dalgarno said “Following a competitive tendering process we are pleased to have awarded the contract to provide OOCD services to RSMS, working together to deliver improved outcomes for all of our communities”.
The project aligns with the Police and Crime Plan 2021-2024, focusing on priorities such as direction, community safety, and restorative justice. RSMS is dedicated to delivering a comprehensive service accessible in all three local authority areas within Bedfordshire, including Bedford Borough, Central Bedfordshire, and Luton Borough.
This contract will run for an initial period of 30 months, commencing on October 1, 2023, with the potential for an extension of up to 24 months. RSMS remains enthusiastic about the opportunity to make a significant impact on the criminal justice system in Bedfordshire, delivering innovative solutions and supporting rehabilitation.
